Does your cat have a funny way of meowing? Can your dog perform a trick that makes people laugh? Then enter The Emerald Coast Funniest Pet Video Contest!

The contest is sponsored by the Northwest Florida Daily News, Bark Avenue, Pets Behave, LLC and The Doggy Bag.

The first-place winner will receive a $500 prize package from Bark Avenue. Second place earns a $250 prize package/Gift Card, and third place receives a $100 prize package/Gift Card from Pets Behave, LLC.. A Judges’ Choice Award will be given and the winner receives a $250 prize package/Gift Card from The Doggy Bag.

Simply fill out the online form and attach a video of your pet doing its funny thing. Entry is free! Submission deadline is Oct. 26. Videos will be assembled into an online gallery. Go there and vote for your favorites! Votes cost $1 apiece and benefit the Daily News’ Newspaper in Education program, and PAWS. Voting runs from Oct. 26-Nov. 16.
